POSEIDON MED II at Dual Ports workshop in Skagen , Denmark
On September 6th of 2018 PMII representative participated in the workshop project Dual Ports that took place at in Skagen, Denmark. Dual Ports project aims to reduce the environmental footprint of regional entrepreneurial ports, improve the sustainability of port operational and administration resources and promoting responsible growth and supporting eco innovation oriented development in the North Sea region. Dual Ports consists of ten partners in Germany, The Netherlands, Scotland, Denmark and Belgium.
Mr Chonianakis Stefanos, Associate of Corporate Development activities Division of Public Gas Corporation SA(DEPA) as PMII representative in the workshop focused on sharing the experience PMII partners have gained till now from the PMII – LNG Bunkering Project providing a general introduction of the project. The workshop was characterized by the competent and experienced participants covering a broad range in LNG sector and port installations, such as LNG suppliers, constructors with broad experience in LNG Infrastructure (EPC projects), local port authorities and other interested parties that are evaluating the LNG perspectives in the wider area of North Sea region. The workshop conversations were fruitful with various opinions to be exchanged around the LNG perspectives in the wider area of North Sea region. PMII project established a strong relationship with Dual Ports Project through sharing knowledge and is looking forward to continue in the future in the same tone, by assisting each other in future issues that may arise.
